Unique Journal of Education and Communication Studies (JEC) is a peer reviewed journal domiciled in University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. It is designed to provide a forum for scholars dealing with communication and education issues around the world in presenting their works for maximum impact in the society. The thrust is creating a space that would serve researchers as a market-place of ideas in theoretical and evidence-based studies. Interested scholars are hereby invited to email their well-researched papers to the editor at ujec@uniport.edu.ng Note that all submissions must be original, scholarly and presented in an inclusive language. Our team of editors make prompt, objective and fair review based on best practices for publication decisions. It is instructive
to state that ideas expressed in the journal is purely the responsibility of the author(s), hence it is expected that all submissions be properly crosschecked against ethical breaches and plagiarism.
Publication Fee
Nigeria: Authors are required to pay a non-refundable Article Processing Charge (APC) of N10,000. As soon as the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are thereafter expected to pay a publication fee of N20,000.

Manuscript Structure
- Submissions are expected to appear in the following structure:
- Title of paper
- Name of Author(s), Institution Affiliation and email address
- Abstract and 5 keywords
- Introduction
- Statement of the Problem
- Aim, Objectives of the Study followed by either Hypothesis or Research Questions
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion of Findings
- Conclusions and Recommendations
- References
Author’s Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts submitted to UJEC are expected to follow these guidelines:
- They must be computer-typed, double-spaced, font size 12, preferably in Times New Roman, using standard margins for paragraphing and must be between 5,000 and 6,000 words apart from entries in the reference page.
- All manuscripts are to be submitted by email to the editor at: ujec@uniport.edu.ng
- The cover page of each manuscript must contain full details of author(s) data, including institution affiliation immediately after the subject title and must provide a brief biography of the author(s) at the base of the cover page.
- The abstract is to be presented in a stand-alone page immediately after the cover page and must not be in more than 200 words, including its five key words.
- All submissions are to follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style sheet, 7th edition.
- All tables, figures and plates (where necessary) are to be included in the body of the work and must be properly labelled.
