University of Port Harcourt Business Review (UPBR) hereby invites suitable research papers from interested authors for the Vol. 1. No. 2 edition. The UPBR is published in both print and online versions. All paper submissions and relevant enquiries should be sent to: upbr@uniport.edu.ng.
Aim and Scope
UPBR is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal designed to provide a unique forum for expression and exchange of ideas in the area of academics, business, economic and social discourse that borders on contemporary issues. The principal aim of UPBR is to help academics, field practitioners, government agencies, policy-makers and international organizations communicate best practices, provide problem-solving models, and disseminate the experiential world class research findings in their various fields and endeavors. In this sense, we have assembled committed and competent reviewers and editors to provide excellent service for both authors and readers. Our team makes prompt, objective and fair review based on best practices for publication decisions.
It is instructive to stress here that our team shall not be held liable for any error, mistake or misstatement contained in the articles published in this Journal or used for other reasons that negates the laws of journalism. The Journal therefore, welcomes manuscript submissions from academicians, scholars, and practitioners for possible publication from all over the world.
Publication Fee
Nigeria: Authors are required to pay a non-refundable Article Processing Charge (APC) of N10,000. As soon as the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are thereafter expected to pay a publication fee of N20,000.
Foreign: Authors are required to pay a non-refundable Article Processing Charge (APC) of N10,000. As soon as the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are thereafter expected to pay a publication fee of N20,000.

Author’s Submission Guidelines
All manuscripts submitted to UJEC are expected to follow these guidelines:
- They must be computer-typed, double-spaced, font size 12, preferably in Times New Roman, using standard margins for paragraphing and must be between 5,000 and 6,000 words apart from entries in the reference page.
- All manuscripts are to be submitted by email to the editor at: ujec@uniport.edu.ng
- The cover page of each manuscript must contain full details of author(s) data, including institution affiliation immediately after the subject title and must provide a brief biography of the author(s) at the base of the cover page.
- The abstract is to be presented in a stand-alone page immediately after the cover page and must not be in more than 200 words, including its five key words.
- All submissions are to follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style sheet, 7th edition.
- All tables, figures and plates (where necessary) are to be included in the body of the work and must be properly labelled.
Structure of Manuscripts
All manuscripts must be submitted in the following structure or flow:
- Title of the paper
- Name of Author with email address
- Abstract
- Keywords (maximum of 3 words).
- Introduction
- Statement of the Problem
- Aim, Objectives and Hypothesis (if any).
- viii. Literature Review (Theoretical, Conceptual and Empirical)
- Methodology
- Results and Discussion of Findings
- Conclusions and Recommendations
- References
Note:All tables and figures (where necessary) must be included in the body and must be clearly titled.
